Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Salisbury

To support and advise the project team on best practise when building high risk projects, which include haul roads, as well as the main Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

Brown field site work with high risk over head line that had to be crossed with machines. This required new procedures and protocol to be developed ensuring the safety of the construction teams and suppliers for safe access and egress.

There were 150 Heavy lifting operations for the installation of batteries and transformer’s including an E-house and associated systems.

ACWA Power Morroco

Audit Health and Safety management systems within the business including active projects for Solar, Renewable and Wind.

We carried out site visits inspections to gather information on the key issues of why there had been a fatality and what was or wasn’t in place to prevent this reoccurring again.

An action plan was created and was briefed to the project team to ensure the project would not endure another serious incident or accident.

Siemens Wind Power

Construction of eight offshore wind farms including onshore fabrication assembly yard and infrastructure.

Manage a team of eight Safety Manager’s and 30+ safety advisers in the offshore wind sector.

Clipper57 visited the sites and spoke with the HSE teams to get background on what was and wasn’t happening. From this, Clipper 57 created a monthly meeting involving other parts of the business to ensure the teams knew who to go to for information to support the projects moving forward.
